Prelicensing - Blended Format (mix of Zoom and In-person)

This course consists of 75 hours of instruction and is offered as a blend of Zoom and in person classes.

 

In-person classes will be held in downtown Asheville at the Lenoir-Rhyne campus in the Asheville Chamber of Commerce building. 36 Montford Ave # 302, Asheville, NC 28801.

 

For live online classes through Zoom you will need: broadband internet access, a working webcam/microphone, and the ability to see full screen and access the keyboard at the same time.  Login from a phone is prohibited. Class materials and Zoom link will be sent out no later than 5 pm the business day before the class begins.

Class Meets 9-4pm via Zoom on Mondays:   August 12, 19, 26 and Sept 9, 16

Class Meets 9-4pm in-person at Lenoir Rhyne University on Wednesdays: August 7, 14, 21, 28, and Sept 4, 11, 18

Please allow two weeks after the class is completed for testing.

IMPORTANT CLASS INFORMATION:

  • The required text for this class is "North Carolina Real Estate Today" by Matt Davies and Tiffany Ross, and an electronic copy is included in class tuition.
  • Students will receive Kelly Allen's  Pre-Licensing course supplemental materials, practice quizzes, and prep exams.
  • Students will have access to our online learning management system with all slides used during the course, math formulas, and worksheets

The Real Estate Broker Prelicense Course is an introductory-level real estate principles and practices course. The primary emphasis is on real estate brokerage law and practice. This course is required for persons desiring to qualify for the North Carolina real estate license examination and to obtain a real estate broker license.
